At what age do you think is right to have sex?? Some of my friends are already having it, and we're only 14!! I say wait til you're married, but apparently not everyone agrees!

I'm sorry, but 14?!? That's too young. I wouldn't care if I was ready at age 13 laying in bed at night gettin hornier by the minute. I think 14 is WAY too young.

I mean, what if you get pregnant? Yes, I know it was your choice to have sex, but then what will you do? Drop out?

What will you do if the guy rapes you? What if it's like a 3 minute thing? What if your physically ready but not emotionally ready? There are just so many what-ifs.

Just to clarify,
-I wasn't saying fourteen is old enough. I agree that fourteen is very young, and I can't see a fourteen year old really...Wanting too. That's how old my older sister is, and I don't think she is mature enough.

I just meant that people mature at different ages, and some feel ready before others. Some want to wait until there wedding night. (Which I btw find very romantic, if two people love each other and choose to wait.. I dunno somthing about that makes my mushy romantic side come out.)

I aggree with Angel. The right time to have sex is within the person and the connection that the two people have with each other. I aggree though that 14 is a bit on the young side

I totally agree with you (This is my opinion) I mean sex is a beautiful thing (not that I've ever done it) and you should wait and do it with the man you marry beacuse then it will mean more and then if you get pregnant at least you know that your husband is going to stick around beacuse you should talk about this before you get married.

But yeah 14 is too young. I dont think there is any exact age as someone else mentioned.. just once you're mature enough. You should also be in love and really love that person.

I was referring to the ones I know, (My sister and her friends many of whom are my friends). That seems to be the last thing on there minds. I know that there are girls out there doing it, it just seems to me like they couldn't REALLY be enjoying it. I did know one thirteen year old girl who wasn't a virgin.. She lived next door to me for like a month, and had a horrible reputaion. She didn't deny anything that people were saying about her, but it seemed like she just couldn't say no to guys. You know I almost typed that it's different for guys, and that there are a lot more guys wanting to sex, then girls. But I didn't want to insult any of the guys here. And I realised that I don't know any fourteen year old guys who want too, and it's reather stereo-typical.

I also think you should wait until you get married before having sex. I am a virgin, but I know at least two girls who go to my school who aren't virgins. And, I've known them since grade nine. So, they were about 14, as well. Also, way too young in my opinion. I'm 16 now and I'm going to wait until marriage before having sex.

While I do think that fourteen is a tad young, I say that whenever you're ready is the right time. I was nineteen when I lost my virginity.

Althuogh it is down to each indivivdual person to know how they feel, I don't think you can make a serious descision like that until you are around 18.
