Default How is the absence of the Julie character explained at the beginning of season 6?

I stumbled across this information by a accident that she is not on the show at the beginning of season 6 but returns at the end of season. Anyone how her absence was explained on the show?

With her husband because he got a job there.

And then when she returned it was stated because he was cheating on her. And I think I read she was pregnant? Lol

Basically, Mack Phillips was fired almost towards the end of season five. Julie and Max moved to Texas. Season six HAD NO JULIE! Season seven, Mack was going to go on tour with her father and his group but since she recovered from her addiction, she was offered the chance to come back to the show for four episodes during season seven.

She was billed at the end of the episode credits that she was featured in. I have the two part ep when she thought Max had an affair but it he didn't and she actually did with a neighbor back in Texas named Harold. Julie and Max reconciled and she announced that she was pregnant!!!.

She and Michael Lembeck were back for the next season and were billed with the rest of the cast. Julie had her baby in a two part ep that season. I uploaded the labor ep two part on You Tube. You Tube did take down the first few minutes I uploaded, though. After she had the baby, she and Max (episodes later) moved back to Indianapolis and moved in with Ann and then with Grandma Romano before moving into a house with Mark and Barbara.

The shows best years was before Mack left the first time. The show was still good but it wasn't the same.

But she looks pretty good again during seasons seven and eight. Season nine, she looks off but only because of what the drugs did to her.

Check out the links I posted in the topic about her being billed last. She looks really good. Now, in this previous post, I just added two clips of Mack from season seven and eight above I uploaded on You tube. "Julie Meets Alex" and "Miracle of Birth".

Solomon, she was on drugs throughout the first five years of the show. Season five took the toll, is all. The only season was not on drugs that she was on was the 81-82 season.
