Default I see Ann had some dance moves when dancing when Julie's Date LOL

LOL, She was dancing with Julie's date and doing the bump and the hustle

But she had to know that it was inappropriate for her to dance with her daughter's date lol That's like a girl coming to see me and ends up dancing with my dad. Not a classy move by Ann at all

I agree. Ann should not have danced with that boy. And she should have been able to tell that the boy was a total weirdo who has a mommy complex. However, that guy was a pretty good actor. He did a great job of acting like a love sick weirdo.

He sounded like he was part of a band or something. He looked and sounded familiar

I know I've seen him in an early '80s movie about how some guy rapes him, so the boy kills himself by jumping off a bridge.... wish I knew his name. He is a good actor.

Edit: Just found out it actually was a mid '70s movie.

Julie did look good when she was dancing. So she's very skinny and kinda different looking, but I think she was very attractive in her own way. If I was a guy, I'd be interested in her.... not her MOTHER!

The actor was Robby Benson. He was really popular for a time in the 70's, but than just kind of went into obscurity ! Good looking ! WOW!! I forgot how good looking Robby Benson was ! As a matter of fact, I almost forgot about him altogether. Once he showed up tonight on ODAAT. I was like OMG Robby Benson. Brought back memories. he had REALLY pretty eyes! And LOL the poofy hair was in style back than. So he was a pretty fine looking guy!

Oh yes!!! Ann was out of line excepting the dance with him. And David was already there with a pizza and some wine! As soon as Julie put the music on, when the boy picked Ann to dance with she should have said no and pulled Julie and David on the floor and Ann should have started dancing with David and encourage Julie and her date to dance!! !

Oh for sure. Ann was flattered that a young hot guy found her attractive. even if she didn't want it to happen, subconsciously she enjoyed it and he was feeling her vibe!

I didnt have a problem with Ann dancing with the kid. I mean its not like they made out right then and there. Now, if she danced with him all night, then I'd have a problem with it. But it was only what, one or two dances?

The thing was the boy was there to take Julie out on a date. They were going to a concert. That was the plan! Not to stay in with her Mom and mom's boyfriend!

It would be different if Julie asked him over to a family party at her apartment. Than it would be Ok to have a dance or two with the Mom, if it wasn't a slow romantic dance, and that is only if he already had danced a few dances with Julie which he didn't! So it was rude of him and Ann, a shame for Julie ( and David too)! And only one pizza, that wasn't enough for 4 people!!!! So therefore Ann and the boy weren't acting appropriately!

Dang! I have to kinda agree. I blame him more so than Ann. The dude was rude to Julie. Taking her out for ice cream and apologizing was the right thing to do.

Still, Ann should have ignored the flattery and resisted him. They BOTH insulted Julie.
