After the series went into first run syndication syndication we never found out what happened to these two. It is said that they graduated from Highschool and were living out on there own, but this was never said by anyone in the show. At least they explained that Aunt Frannie died, but not a word about Bud and Sonja.

Well, they did rate a mention in the episode about Aunt Fran's funeral. Mama was complaining about all the people who couldn't make it, and said "No Buzz and Sonia".

Oh ok, i didn't catch that line. thank you. at least I know there characters were just gone like they never existed.

Seems to me that they would have recieved some mention when Vint and naomi had their baby.

Yeah, it would've been cool to see them in the final episode after missing-- what? 5-7 seasons?
