laying on Ann's bed and begging her to marry him after first saying he would give her a week. This submissive A$$hole is so annoying and it will be only another week before season 2 starts lol
Nothing manly about this dude at all I hope this fool doesn't return later in the series as a guest |

Surprise! He's in five episodes from Season 2 and returns later in Season 6 in one episode.

The character of David is so much different than the character this actor played on Rhoda, Nick Lobo , Brenda's boyfriend ! He was a conceited guy who played an accordion in a band and had Brenda wrapped around his finger!

Yeah you are right! David being a lawyer, and younger than Ann. And he really wasn't bad looking. He was a bit overweight but had a nice enough face. He didn't need to be begging an older woman with 2 kids to love him, esp. being that Ann wasn't even that pretty, she was OK, not ugly but very average looking only!

David was not my favorite either. The show got better after he left the show.

Ya'll are some serious David haters. Dang! LOL. I liked the dude as he was not a jerk at all. He was kewl, you guys. I can see if he was rude SOB but he loved Ann and the kids and was willing to take them on as his own. That is a real man, there.

Now, that I think about it, I don't think TBS liked David either. LOL. TBS started with season two and went through most of season seven and then started back again with beginning season one this time. Seasons eight and nine never aired on TBS with the exception of a season nine episode where Ann's new husband Sam has to keep changing cruise reservations for a Christmas getaway. This aired shortly before Christmas of 1988 on TBS with keeping with theme of Christmas episodes. |

I saw that when it aired on TBS back in 1989. I remember that Ann was PO'd and I recall that the other woman shared ice cream having their own pints to eat as they talked woman to woman. LOL. I missed the ep tonight but that is what I remembered from memory. |

I noticed after about 6 episodes the audience loves when Schnieder enters the apartment. |
