Drool Details on "The Human Centipede Part 3 (Final Sequence)" Released

The Human Centipede Part 3: Exclusive Release Date and Synopsis
by Clark Collis
4/7/15

When writer-director Tom Six unleashed the first Human Centipede film onto an unsuspecting world back in 2010 it’s hard to imagine many people thought it would one day become a full-fledged trilogy.

Actually, it’s hard to imagine many people thought anyone would make a movie about people being surgically stitched together to form a single digestive tract in the first place. But that’s a discussion for another day.

EW can exclusively reveal that The Human Centipede Part 3 (Final Sequence) will be released to theaters and VOD on May 22.

The film stars Dieter Laser from the original film, Laurence R. Harvey from Part 2, and franchise newbie Eric Roberts. Director Six promises that the movie is “100 percent politically incorrect.

We have also exclusively obtained the synopsis for The Human Centipede Part 3 for your, ahem, consumption. Enjoy!

"Bully prison warden Bill Boss (Dieter Laser), leading a big state prison in the USA, has a lot of problems; his prison statistically has the highest amount of prison riots, medical costs and staff turnover in the country. But foremost he is unable to get the respect he thinks he deserves from his inmates and the state Governor (Eric Roberts).

He constantly fails in experimenting with different ideas for the ideal punishment to get the inmates in line, which drives him, together with the sizzling heat, completely insane.

Under threats of termination by the Governor, his loyal right hand man Dwight (Laurence R Harvey) comes up with a brilliant idea. A revolutionary idea which could change the American prison system for good and save billions of dollars.

An idea based on the notorious 'Human Centipede' movies, that will literally and figuratively get the inmates on their knees, creating the ultimate punishment and deterrent for anyone considering a life of crime. Having nothing to lose, Bill and Dwight create a jaw-dropping 500-person prison centipede.

Is it strange I'm really looking forward to this?

Though I am wondering how Six will top part 2, that movie was mad. Love that they're bringing back Laser and Harvey.

My friend and I died laughing while watching Part 2. When the mother goes, "Mouth to anus?", lol, we almost fell off the couch.

I didn't get it being in B&W, though.

This is a quote I found from Tom Six:

“When I made part one, I used clinical colours, the camera work is very steady and that really fit the story of Dr. Heiter. For the second one, I wanted to do a completely different film. I wanted to create a dark story - it had to look dirty and beautiful at the same time. Black and white really helped the story of Martin,” Six explains, before revealing one unusual influence.

“If I did it in colour, all the attention would go to the gore and centipede. It’s much more than that. It’s a story, and the black and white gives it a really uncomfortable feeling, like Eraserhead and I did a Schindler's List . Spielberg used a red dress, I used brown diarrhea. It’s an ode to Schindler's List!"

^ Thanks for that. Yeah, I did notice the brown diarrhea.

Wow, The Human Centipede and Schindler's List being used together.

Now I have an image of a movie called Schindler's Human Centipede in my head.

Oh No

Tom Six was also inspired by Pasolini's Salo (120 Days of Sodom) for his Human Centipede Trilogy.

I also wanted to make a spoof called The Auto Centipede where a German-American, Italian-American, and Japanese-American were in a fender-bender and meet-up with a mad scientist who makes their car into a 3-car during the WWII era...

I 86 the idea once Robin Williams passed-on because he'd be a great mad scientist.

Hey Torgo, I know that you've now seen Part 3. I saw one of the stills released featuring porn star Bree Olson. How big of a role does she have?

I also read that Shout! (Scream) Factory will be handling the home release. I may pick up the Blu-ray trilogy box set.

She has a fairly big role, she plays the warden's secretary. She's really good in the part. I'd say she's the 3rd biggest part in the film.

Yeah, I want to get the trilogy BR set too, I haven't bought any of them yet, so that'll be the perfect release to get.

Thanks. Yeah, I just wanted to see if it was a decent part or one of those one-shot cameos.

I just have the 1st one on DVD, but I got it used so it's no biggie if I get the set.
