It's funny how so many shows FINALLY start airing again AFTER they're released in full on DVD.

I wish it was coming to a channel that respects classics shows like Antenna TV or MeTV because Logo is known for heavy edits for commercials and on screen advertisements. The credits will probably be missing and scenes will be interrupted by commercials.

At least we have the DVDs if we want unedited versions.

I'm going to try and record the episode "The Graduate" from season 7 if they ever get around to airing it. To my knowledge, it's the only episode from the DVD set that has music edits.

Why bother? They edit shows to death on Logo so I am sure that the music will be gone as well. You are better off finding old recordings of the show from Nick at Nite or other reruns to find the music missing from the DVD.

I have some episodes recorded from CTS which is a Canadian station and the music is included for that episode.

Chances are Logo won't air the complete series. They usually pick up shows to only stop airing them after a few weeks/episodes. I have yet to see the entire run of Maude on the network.

I am so glad that Shout Factory was able to clear almost every song. It is better than the Mama's Family sets where scenes were edited out because the music was not cleared. The set is still great but those music numbers made the show and so many were removed

I am glad I kept my old recordings from TBS and ion because those episodes had musical numbers.

Well MF was a much more musical series than FOL was (MF has around 70 songs, possibly more), so it's a blessing they cleared nearly all of them. The only complete scene totally edited out was the "Harper Days Are Here Again" montage from "Mama For Mayor, Part I". A handful of others they "worked around" to take just the part featuring the sung lyrics out of the scene. So considering there were dozens and dozens and dozens of songs to clear, the folks for MF really did a great job of getting almost everything.

I wonder why The Facts of Life would be on a channel aimed towards the LGBT audience.

Because of the "tomboyish" characters portrayed by Nancy McKeon or Molly Ringwald?

Because the show in its last 2 seasons had George Clooney, who'd been a longtime gaydar target before his marriage?

Because of the implied lesbianism storyline in the very first episode?

Huh. Because the show did at times challenge gender norms for its time, i can see why Logo would want to run the show. Despite the cable channels showing trimmed syndicated cuts, I think that Logo featuring the show will slightly boost DVD sales from interested viewers.

I thought the Lifetime, Oxygen, and WE channels specified in shows about "strong women" instead of the LGBT-focused Logo, or am I missing something here?

You should be asking why any of these sitcoms are being aired on Logo. None of these shows match their demographic.

I hate their commercials and heavy edits of their programs so I won't be tuning in. I will watch my DVDs before I watch a heavily edited program with tons of commercials and repeated promos over again. To add insult to injury they don't play ending credits which to me is a staple of the classic sitcom era especially with The Facts of Life. The ending credits to that show in my personal opinion are the best.

I gave up on TV Land 8 or so years ago because of how they butcher their programs to make room for commercial to advertise filth, reality and sexual BS not meant for anyone's eyes.

Thanks but no thanks Logo. They air all of my favorite programs but I am far from impressed with their station and won't waste my time tuning in.

These shows belong on either Cozi, Me-TV, Antenna TV or even FamilyNet to name some before they air on Logo.
