I didn't know Bosom Buddies had only 38 episodes for two whole seasons

I thought back in the day of its original run seasons had at least 26 episodes per season for thirty minute sitcoms.

F-Troop ran for about 2 years, and used to be popular in syndication. It currently airs on Me-TV. The Rebel is another one that ran under three years.Over the years though there have been a lot of them. The original The Jetsons ran only one year, and used to be very popular in syndication. There are also a lot of shows from the UK that have been syndicated that ran over 3 years, but have under 50 episodes because the average BBC season is around 6-8 episodes or so.

I've never seen "Phyllis"...I've always wanted to.

I wish it and "Torkelsons" would release on DVD!

Other than Phyllis, none of those shows are syndicated. Cable reruns are not syndication.

I think the shortest lived show I've seen in reruns is Square Pegs which had 19-20 episodes. Haven't seen it lately.

I remember watching that show, I think, in 2003. I believe it was on TV Land, every Friday.
