Damm, tell me something I don't know about the Jeffersons and it's cast members

who the hell didn't know that Isabel was older than Sherman? Plus one of their facts was inccurate

They said Marla Gibbs and Belinda Tolbert were the only cast members still alive which is false because Damon Evans is still alive too.

They also mentioned how Roxie Roker is the mother of Lenny Kravitz. Really? I never would have known that!

No, this is true. They said that they are the only surviving ORIGINAL cast members. Damon Evans is not an original cast member. He was a replacement.

Well i know for a fact that they are wrong about this because I have the magazines and books to prove it

Not true. It was stated in ebony magazine from 1976 that he left because his role became too small. That was also mentioned in the 1981 titled the Jeffersons

So I have no idea who works in the antenna tv research dept. Lol

^^^ Yeah, they were wrong on that one. I always knew that Mike Evans didn't care for how small the role of Lionel was at the time.

One thing I didn't know was about Paul Benedict ( Mr. Bentley) having a medical /pituitary gland condition ! The reason he had such a big face and pronounced facial features! Seeing him on the Jefferson's as a kid I thought it was just because he was a big man!

I remember that magazine very well. It always pissed me off that Lionel was not in the family photo.

It's another photo similar to that one with the second lionel and Mother Jefferson on the front of Jet magazine in Nov of 1976

I never thought the second Lionel was any great actor. He was almost as bad as the second Alan Willis. I liked the original Alan much better.
