In one episode Martin was telling Frasier how he didn't have a brother growing up, I think Frasier and Niles had had a big argument again and he was trying to get them to make up. The episode seems to imply that Martin didn't have any siblings at all and was an only child. And then in a later episode Martin's brother "Walt" shows up with his half-Greek son Niko and his Greek wife played by Patty LuPone, I can't remember her name on the show. No questions, I just like to point out when shows make these kind of plot and continuity errors. One of the more obvious ones for the show Frasier.

Yes Zora, thank you Alan Brady's Hair. And I agree Patty LuPone was very good in the role, funny too. I don't know, I just think that with many series the writers simply forget stuff that they've written in previous episodes as time goes on. And they come up with a new episode and don't think about what's already been written and told to the audience. You'd think it wouldn't happen so much but it does. And that's why you get continuity and plot errors like this one. I sometimes wish shows would somehow keep better track of a series history and previous storylines so it wouldn't happen. But it's kind of fun to find these mistakes and point them out!

And if I remember Walt, Zora, and Niko, were never mentioned again either.

Ha ha, so true! Maybe it's like on Cheers where Frasier told everyone that his dad was dead. They did rectify that on Frasier, though when Sam came to town and mentioned it to Frasier. Martin wasn't happy about that at all!
