Rex Linn To Recur on "Nashville"
"Nashville" Taps "CSI: Miami" Alum to Play Will's Macho Father (Exclusive)
3/25/15 by Lesley Goldberg ABC's "Nashville" is primed to introduce Will Lexington's (Chris Carmack) father. "CSI: Miami" alum Rex Linn has been tapped to recur on the network's country music drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. William "Bill" Lexington is described as a handsome, all-American guy who's a fourth-generation Texan. Bill is macho and proud and owns a bunch of ranch land that he works himself. He believes that hard work and elbow grease is the only way to get ahead. He's a devoted and sincere family man — but also deeply conservative — and for him, having a gay son just won't fly. Linn will make his debut toward the end of the season in May with the option to return for "Nashville's" potential fourth season. The casting comes as Carmack's Will remains in the closet about his sexuality as his career continues to skyrocket. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/liv...um-play-784382 |
