Default predict what the future of movies will be in the next 5-10 years

i'll start i'll say in the next 5-10 years nothing will really change comic book films will still be a hot money grabber for box offices you'll probably see nothing but spiderman. batman. superman. x-men & avengers competing with sequels of fast & furious. transformers. expendables & paranormal activity

new remakes will consist of - Look Whos Talking. The Great Outdoors. Smokey & The Bandit. Prince Of Darkness. Nightmare On Elm Street (Again) Halloween (Again) Friday The 13th (Again) The Omen (Again) M*A*S*H*. Bonanza. Carrie (Again) Back To The Future. The Exorcist (Finally) Jaws (Finally) The Graduate. Young Guns. Tombstone. Stagecoach (Again)

films that will get live adaptations Sword & The Stone. Black Cauldron. Little Mermaid. Aladdin

True...

If you gave the film corp an original idea...it'll be in the trash!

Next up...a remake of Gone With the Wind Volume 1 and 2...only because the original was too long...4 hours!

Imagine if Social Media existed during the 30's and 40's. People would be complaining about The Wizard of Oz being remade so soon.

remakes. sequels. prequels & comic book films don't bother me like they do most people I could care less how many times its been remade or how many sequels its had i'll still go see it I guess its because Im young and im supposedly apart of *hollywoods target audience* (never understood that meaning at all)

but I understand folks wanting new ideas however I suggest they brace theirself because its really not going back to originality anytime soon more and more comic book films are getting greenlit everyday . thanks to avengers every once in a blue moon you'll have a decent action. horror or western flick with somewhat originality to it. but the days of variety are pretty much dead

Haha very true. Remakes have been around almost as long as Hollywood.

Default the futuer 5-10 years

I really don't think they will be theaters any more I think they will be way to watch our favorite newer movies on TV I think their be a box were you can down load the last movie coming out you would still have to pay for it of cores but I think that's were every thing cause you can down load games form your play station 3 or 4 so I think the future be were you have this box or down load a movie in front of your TV. I also predict their be something better like 3-d TV or movie like hologram movie or TV.

Remakes, Sequels/Prequels, Spin-Offs, Revivals = BORING!

Stupid film industry will be nothing but remakes, revivals, spin-offs, or sequels/prequels (and essentially nothing else) within the next 5 - 10 years.

Definitely more comic book films, there are quite a few in the works for release in the next two-three years

More Tyler Perry dramadies

RL Stine's adult horror novel Red Rain becomes a movie with Julianne Moore as the lead character

More obscure YA fiction being made into movies

Werewolf films get popular again

I also predict that at least one of these new remakes, sequels, prequels, spinoffs, or reboots will fail/flop/bomb at the box office.
