"Christmas Time" is from the sixth season. What season do you think it was from? You say "3nd" but do you mean second or third? The second-season Christmas episode was "Guess Who's Coming to Christmas" while there was no Christmas episode in the third season.

Actually, there was a Christmas episode in the 3rd season although the main plot has nothing to do with the holiday. "Tell It To The Marines." Because it has a scene where Fonzie and the girls were taking Christmas pictures at Arnold's which was actually closed when Richie came and told him that he should talk Ralph out of joining the Marines which was what that ep. was actually about.

There's a season 4 episode which the Cunningham's had Christmas decorations in the house. Richie and Howard were bringing in a tree. It's called 'Richie Branches Out' where he wanted to meet the girl on the poster. He got caught up in the Christmas tree at Arnold's, pretty funny.

A couple of things may have confused you.

There is the season 2 episode where Fonzie comes for Christmas (which is the episode that truly jumped Winkler's character into a sincere situation that eventually won the fans hearts)....this is episode is then remembered/repeated in a season 4 episode (Fonzie is telling the story to Al).

I think it was also repackaged in Season 3 and in that one Fonzie's was telling the story to Arnold.

Can someone elaborate on this a little more? What is meant by "Talking to Arnold" and "Taking to Al?" What exactly is being said?

I know on the Season 3 DVD there is the 2nd Anniversary Episode which includes Arnold

On the Season 4 DVD there is the 3rd Anniversary Episode which includes Al

I have these as store bought dvds and dvds I purchased off of ioffer, which may contain the aired versions. I'd like to look at them and see if I have both version you guys are talking about here.

So what should I be looking for? Is there a certain spot in the episodes where Fonzie is talking to Arnold about something and then in a later episode talking to Al about the same thing?

Thanks,
Chris

He was never talking to Arnold at all. There is the season 2 episode that is repeated in Season 4 with a segment in the beginning with Fonzie is telling Al about him going the Cunninghams for Christmas. Al is reluctant because he was new to the neighborhood then, but then Fonzie reassures him how great the Cunninghams are and welcomes him to come for X-Mas. then he tells the season 2 story and we see the repeated episode.

Thanks for clearing that up. So what is the issue? Is that season 4 episode not included on the season 4 DVD? Or is just the beginning part missing? I am assuming the season 2 episode is "Guess who's coming for Christmas" Is it called the same thing in season 4 or something different?
