I am gritting my teeth typing this... Lisa will be doing a book signing on March 30 here in town. I have been patiently waiting to here when she'd be in the Wash DC area and now I know. Well, at that time, I will be at my mom and dad's celebrating Easter....!!!!!!!! I'm so upset I could cry. Maybe we'll meet earlier in the day so I can leave without being rude. I'll check with her. It'll be hard enjoying myself knowing she's 10 minutes away from me!

Karli's Horrible Flordia Expirience

This past February, when Lisa Whelchel was in Flordia the WHOLE month, I had the opp. to go to Flordia to stay with my aunt and uncle. I could have met Lisa Whelchel 4 times!!! FOUR GOD DAMN TIMES!!!! But noooooo of course not!!! My mother wouldn't let me fly alone!!!!!!!

Well, I decided that I WILL go to the booksigning. I explained the situation to my mom who really didn't seem happy about it, but you know, it is really important to me to meet her and have her sign my book. She has influenced my life in many ways and I really, really admire her. I'll probably never get another chance.

She'll just have to get over it, I attend every holiday get together, so I'll be a little late for this one. Big deal. She can be an uptight person and really gets jostled if things don't go as she wants.
