Default Do You Think Wilma and Betty are Too rough on Fred and Barney

I have watch The Flintstones for many years and one thing i have notice IMHO is that Wilma and Betty seem to be too rough on Fred and Barney, especially in the earlier episodes. They are sometimes jealous and suspicious and even in the episode when Fred and barney try to win money for Pebbles and Bamm Bamm's college funds by racing in the Indianrockpolis 500, they drive all the way to try and stop them. What do you think?

Barney is mellow and easy going. And so is Betty, so she has no reason to be tough on him.

Now don't get me wrong. I love Fred. He's totally funny and a great character for the show. BUT in real life, in all do respect the man would be a bit of an A** ! He's an obnoxious man, always yelling about something so Wilma kind of steps up to the plate and gets tough with him sometimes before he gets the chance to be tough with her!

I just got Flintstones complete Season 3, so I will make a special note to be on the lookout to see how Wilma and Betty are treating Fred and Barney when I watch the DVD's later!

The one who is really rough on Fred is this lady! Wilma's Mom, she is the typical tough Mother in law that men hate to be stuck with!! LOL she is so funny! I love when Wilma's mom is on the show!

In my mind Fred and Betty had the sharpest tempers and Wilma and Barney were more laid back.

I always thought there were similarities in the opposite spouses, Fred and Betty both have realistic eyes, dark hair, blue in their outfits, and both were more aggressive.

Wilma and Barney has dots for eyes and more even tempered.

Ya know what I was just thinking? Although Pebbles has Wilma's hair, she really looks more like Fred in the face than she does Wilma! Has the bigger more realistic eyes and Fred's facial expression more ! Anyone else see this?

How cute would it have been if they had a second child, a boy with Fred's hair and Wilma's eyes/face!?

Yabba Dabbo NO!

Barney and Fred would be inclined to do doodie squat without the "girls" on their case. Just my opinion though of course.
