I read an article about how Matt Williams and Roseanne didn't get along. He eventually left to co-create Home Improvement. But at one point he asked John and Laurie if they would continue the show if Roseanne was let go. They both said no. My question is, do you think the show would have lasted long without Roseanne if they had said yes. Or if it did last would it have been a smaller of a successful show?

I have some issues with Rosanne as a person, but it was her show and she was the "star" so no, without her there would have been no more show. That would be like having I love Lucy without Lucy. And no comparison as Lucy was a much better actress and much more classy than Rosanne, but I think I made my point. |
