If I missed a thread I apologize, but I did a quick search for one of the cases featured on Unsolved.com, and couldn't find anything.
I'm surprised we haven't had anyone start talking about these new cases, even though we have very little information as compared to the typical UM segment. However, I still consider them official UM cases so...I hope I'm alright in putting this here. I'll start and comment on one case and we'll go from there. The Case Bradley Dale Ross II He went missing in November 2004 from Fort Wayne Indiana. He was last known to be on his way to pick his girlfriend up from her workplace. His car was found at an intersection looking as if it had been in an accident. Nobody knows who was driving. My Opinion I think this was a road rage killing. If the theory that somebody else was driving Bradley's car is true, the person he/she hit would've contacted the police complaining of someone leaving the scene of an accident. The only reason not to would be if that person were afraid of talking to the police, and I find it unlikely that two people afraid of the police would get into a car accident in a small place such as Fort Wayne. Therefore, I think Bradley was driving his car at the time of the accident. Since Bradley was likely driving, the fact that nobody reported the accident tells me that whoever drove the other car DID NOT want the police involved. Now, I assume the other car was still drivable after the crash since it wasn't there. That said, I would think the typical criminal would want to just drive away and make it a Hit & Run situation, or if they had cash on them, try to pay Bradley that way hoping to avoid issues with insurance. Worst case, odds are they would've just knocked Bradley down and drove away if Bradley pushed the issue. My theory is that Bradley was driving, and collided with another car in the intersection. The other driver was either a person who was having a horrible day and this was the final straw, OR a person who was known to typically have a violent temper. Either way, I think the person went into a rage, and when Bradley got out of his car to try to exchange information, they lashed out and killed him, either intentionally or accidentally. The killer then loaded Bradley's body into their vehicle and drove off to dispose of it somewhere. The only issue that pops up is there was no information regarding forensic evidence found in and around Bradley's car. I would expect if blood was found, it would've been mentioned. If there was no blood, road rage would be hard to prove as most of those types of assaults result in bloodshed. However, a blunt force injury could result in mostly internal injuries and if the body was packed away fast, it's feasible that there would be very little to no blood at the murder scene. Thoughts anybody? |
