Default Mrs. Garrett should have been fired after revealing this to her boss

The epsiode when James knew he had the job because Mrs Garrett from Facts of Life told him it was his without checking with her boss lol

So the fact that he had to come in and tell James he didn't have the job to clean up the error she made means she should have been canned. You don't tell anyone they got the job without a offer letter with a start date

I would have reamed her out, busted her down to janitorial services and given James her job.

That's a good question. I don't know too many black men who would take their girlfriends or wives to a job interview hahahahahahahahahaha. Mrs. Garrett is stupid for telling James he got the job and she didn't check with her boss to make sure it was ok for him to get the job. She should've been fired. I don't remember her being on Good Times.

Tell me about it, James was a grown man that needed his wife on the interview.

On a related note. I saw some lady take her parents on an interview. Even more pathetic.

Exactly. The moral of the story.

1. There needs to be an offer letter
2. Go on the interview by yourself.

James taking Florida to his interview and not going to a interview because he felt he wouldn't get the job was the two WEIRDEST JAMES EVANS MOMENTS of the show
