I hope MTV goes back to its roots and plays music videos again...
Keep the vids but have some variety as well...that's the lesson for today...and the reality bubble has busted! |

The days of music videos is long gone and reality TV is so stale and boring. The last time I flipped by Mtv I could not even tell what they were showing.
Viacom management is awful. Networks with no identity and endless commercials. How could anyone manage to screw up TVLand? Classic sitcoms for heaven's sake. But have fewer true "Classics" and cut the episodes to shreds and show 20 commercials in a row and it is dead. |

Nickelodeon is also affecting it when Viacom restructures. |

Viacom sure lost its roots...

Lets face it. Nick/MTV/TV Land, the whole bunch of them fell into this "Reality TV is the new thing and old stuff is garbage" mentality. You've seen it over the years with TV Land/Nick/MTV. Look at how its declined. I mean remember how great Nick at Nite and TV Land USED to be? So honestly, like I mentioned in another thread, I hate to see anybody lose there jobs but they did it to themselves. They should have left well enough alone.
