Default Speaking of Ms. Landers

The first season Beaver is in second grade and has Ms. Cantfield. Second season should be third grade and now enter Ms. Landers.

Then is seems that Beaver has her most of the rest of the show. He does have the man teacher and Ms. Rayborn (the principle) a few times, but mostly Ms. Landers.

Am I missing something? Why so many years with Ms. Landers?

He didn't have her for too long, because didn't she get married and move away? Wasn't Beaver jealous when she told him?

Miss Landers did get married but she didn't move away. In a later episode when Beaver had the male techer he stopped by Miss Landers classroom (for some reason they didn't use her married name) to talk to her and get some advice.

Miss Landers is in the series from season 2 to 4. She makes a final appearance in season 5 as mentioned above where Beaver asks her for advice.

Yes, she was a pretty lady. No wonder Beaver had a crush on her.

I think the reason they called her "Miss Landers" in season 5 was so we would all remember her. "Yes Miss Landers". It would have been consistent if Beaver called her Miss Landers and she corrected him that she was Mrs. Brittingham but we would have forgotten she got married.

Maybe Tom Brittingham, Miss Landers' fiancé, took her last name.....now she is Ms. landers.
