Wink one year anniversary

Hello, my Freddie Family.
I didn't want this milestone to pass without notice. Starting the end of January and going until May, many of us here on this board will be celebrating one year registered. Some of us are no longer posting, but the faithful are still here, sharing our thoughts and opinions. I want to thank you all for a great year. My husband and family thought that this obsession for me might last a few months, WRONG!!! I'm still going strong and I am glad many of you are too. We are a family, drawn together in Freddie's wonderful presence among us! BTW my "official" anniversary was Monday. I just wanted to take some time on my anniversary on the board to thank you all for being my friends.
Freddie Forever, Marie

Luckymama I agree, it has been a wonderful time here! I too have been here year now well actually a little over. I have had a great time here getting to know Freddie all over again since I discoverd the board here. The friends here I've met have been great. Although it is sad to see some go and presue other interests. The true Freddie Fans stuck together through thick and thin. I will always treasure my memories here that have given me great joy!

We have seen many people come and go. It's so true....... The ones who've stayed have been here a year or so. Some a little less, some a little more, but Freddie is the one who keeps us together. The love that we have for a man who left us too early I'm glad to know each and everyone of you. Maybe one day we can personally meet and give each other a big hug. I'm sure Freddie would like that. I bet he would just smile.

Luckymama was thinking the same thing I was. I was recently noticing I had been on here a yr now! WOW! I watched the very first CATM episode cuz I was watching SANFORD & SON that nite & decided to leave the tv on & see what was next. Next show was CATM & it looked good so I left it on. I liked it & watched it as did everyone else back then. I wasn't into Freddie back then tho. Probably cuz I was too much in love with John Travolta, The Monkees & Shaun Cassidy LOL! I remembered when Freddie died & thought it was a shame but wasn't in love with him. Never thought of him as cute or not. I once came across these boards back before CATM was on TVLAND & thought the reason no on was on here much was the show hasn't been on for yrs.

Then I found out TVLAND was gonna show the show again & have the marathon . I was glad to hear that as I hadn't seen it in yrs & liked it. I watched alot of the marathon. I started watching the show when it came on it's regular timeslot & enjoyed it once more. I soon started getting into the show & Freddie but couldn't admit I was falling for him. I got more & more into the show & Freddie & found these boards & here I am! It didn't take ong ofr me to get into him more & more.

At first I thought & wrote on here well I don't really drool over my fave stars anymore but just think they are cute & like & collect on them. Boy was I wrong as Freddie brought back the drool in me LOL! I read on here where people would cry watching Freddie & I thought no I won't cry over him but want to enjoy watching the show & laughing over him. Boy was I wrong there too. I read his moms book & the exerpts from it that someone had posted on here & had the hankies going. I watched the E-TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY & CAN YOU HEAR THE LAUGHTER & both had me going thru the hankies & having a boo-hoo fest.

I have really had fun on here this past yr with all you good people. I am so glad that folks stuck it out & didn't leave when the show was taken off of TVLAND. I hope we will all still be here yrs from now hanging out on here & loving Freddie & keeping his memory alive! Prior to the internet there was no way to really be in contact with other fans of a star you liked like Freddie. The internet helps us find out about our stars & keep in touch with their fans etc like with Freddie. Freddie will always be here alive on these boards & his other sites! Thanks for a memorable yr folks! & Thanks to Freddie for bringing us all together!

My one year anniversary for being a member of this board will be this Sunday! I'm so glad I found this board and all you great friends! I remember the day I stumbled onto this board--my hubby was out of town, and I was bored, and cruising the internet for stuff about Freddie Prinze. Up til recently, there wasn't very much on the internet about him!

We had some interesting conversations over the past year, haven't we?
Remember Role Play? Or Club Hubba Hubba?
Some posts were memerable for different reasons as well ( ) lol!

I love this board!!

Wink

A whole year! It's amazing what all can happen in just a year isn't it? I had no idea when I started corresponding with all the wonderful Freddie/CATM fans that a whole year later it would still be going on. Most things come and go but I can see our love and dedication to this wonderful man will last a long, long time. I may not post as often as I did before, but I still check out the message boards daily to see what's going on. I've met so many nice people here and there are several that I have become very good friends with. Two weeks ago I lost my dear, prescious mother and my CATM friends here have been very helpful in dealing with my horrific loss. Thank you very much ladies. As I told these special friends, I hope mom puts in a good word for me up there when she meets our dear Freddie.

Wow, sorry to hear about your mom. My condolences. Peace & God bless.

Hopefully you'll get to post a little more often on here. I tend to post on here the MSN sites, De-De's boards, the Freddie Sr Fan club more than some of the other sites cuz theres usually more messages on these sites. But I keep up with all the boards anyway. It's not my job... LOL!

I remember participating in Chico and the man Roleplay and fun with photoshop. under "luvinjuan1980" That was a lot of fun. A new year, a new screenname and more fun to come.
