He will play the highly intelligent head of psychiatry, Dr. Daniel Charles. The "Chicago Med" planted spin-off is being conceived and written by Dick Wolf, whose company Wolf Films produces the Chicago Fire/Chicago PD franchise, and the franchise’s Matt Olmstead, Derek Haas and Michael Brandt.
