Hmmm...perhaps because Pluto is all dog and Goofy is more of a "humanoid" dog?

Well, it may not be authentic, but bein' a Disney collector for about 10 years now (particularly back from "Walt's era"), and havin' worked at a Disney Store, I had to try!
