Default Again, since Jack kicked out the hottie to spend the evening with the fat girl why

didn't he just have SEX with Bernice and start dating her?

He tells Arabella that him and Berniece have a date so since that was the case he should have got busy with her. This episode confirms why I liked Larry more than Jack because Larry would have never done anything that dumb, He would have told Berniece fat a$$ to get out so he can chill with his ACTUAL GIRLFRIEND

jack was nutty in this episode

Obviously the writers wsre attempting to send the message that fat girls are people too. Had Jack done what 95% of all men would have done - chosen the hotty over the fatty (especially if sex was a sure thing) - Jack would have lost his "nice guy" status with a large portion of the female viewers. His choice was strickly a "made for television" move.

Well they should have had him make out with her to send the message that

"Fat girls are sexy too"

THAT would have damaged his reputation, made him a look like a nerd and made the woman seem like a one-night-stand tramp.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would still have to be attracted to a woman in order to actually make out with her - regardless of whether SHE wants to.

Wow... you typical men just don't get it.
Jack was not attracted to Bernice at all.
Jack threw out Aribella because she treated Bernice like trash.
Jack was just being KIND to Bernice because she is a human being with true feelings. That's why they agreed to be FRIENDS.
What is wrong with you guys?????
Too bad more men aren't like Jack Tripper because he is a precious treasure.

OK, I'll agree with you there. Larry was a complete pervert. Jack was a gentleman.
