In Memoriam: JUNE FAIRCHILD (1946-2015)
Actress June Fairchild, who had significant ties to The Monkees' film & TV kingdom, has passed, a victim of liver cancer at the age of 68. She had an unbilled role as a teenage wife who chats with Mr. Schneider in Episode #9 of The Monkees TV series, "The Chaperone" (#4711) and a feature role in The Monkees' 1968 motion picture HEAD as The Jumper. She later played Sylvie in the 1971 Columbia Picture Drive, He Said, produced and directed by HEAD cowriter/coproducer Jack Nicholson, executive-produced by Bert Schneider (also HEAD), and featuring I.J. Jefferson (Lady Pleasure in HEAD) in a bit part as a Secretary.
