been awhile since I've been around but a story I recently read brought me back. I searched the forum but didn't find any previous mention of this. Maybe my search was off.
In any case, the article lead me to a reddit thread where some folks were speculating that the tara calico polaroid actually resembles "Lori Ruff" a lot more than Tara. I have to say I agree. thoughts? http://www.reddit.com/r/UnresolvedMy...fied_children/ |

I have to say I still don't understand why people are so quick to say that the photo just HAS to be of abducted children. It just as easily could be child abuse/pornography victims or a strange prank/hoax. |

My money would probably be a hoax-few criminals would take the risk of dropping clues in random places on purpose for the police to possibly track them down & end up charging them with things like abduction, imprisonment, torture, rape/sexual abuse & even murder.
People messing around would not be so bothered-if the cops turn up & the people are all alive & well then the worst you will likely get is a severe talking to for doing such a stupid prank. I know people have said you can see the fear in their faces-but really it is hard to see anything because their mouths are covered & to me the girl looks fairly calm-but again how can you tell much from a non-moving photo? You cannot even see if they are actually bound or if they are just pretending to be-all we can see is they have tape over their mouths. Like the supposed Amy Bradley photos-people say it is obviously photos of a woman being forced to pose, but they look little different than amateur modelling photos to be honest. |

We all look at the photo and assess it through our own cognitive lenses and whatever conclusions we draw about the emotions in the photo are reflections of own inner beliefs. Without knowing the context of the photo, such observations are meaningless, IMO. |
