I was looking for an updated thread for books and movies on UM cases, though I found one for books (not in a master list format) but there wasn't anything for movies. If we can get together enough of these I will alphabetize it.

Victim of Love: The Shannon Mohr Story(TV Movie, 1993) note that this was directed by John Cosgrove in what might be called the longest UM reenactment ever.

Manhunt for Claude Dallas (TV Movie, 1986) Claude Dallas was featured in an FBI roll call on the first special w Raymond Burr.

Frequent Flyer (TV Movie, 1996) - Names are changed, but it is primarily based on the story of Bigamist Jack Lutter

Escape from Terror: The Teresa Stamper Story (TV Movie, 1995) - about her husband Paul Stamper. John Cosgrove produced this film.

Abducted: The Carlina White Story (TV Movie, 2012)

Without Evidence (1995) -Michael Francke case

The hacker that was on UM was Kevin Poulsen - was Kevin Mitnick on UM? I don't see him listed.

Very loosely. No offense to the great Aaron Sorkin, but creative liberties were definitely taken with that story.

The one about Carlina White's abduction and discovery. Her case was briefly featured at the end of the Marlene Santana case in 1989, along with Christopher Abeyta (also still missing).

Yep, I mentioned that above. It came out, I believe, on the same night as the "Beyond The Headlines" episode on her. Lifetime still airs them every now and then.

Don't forget Black Mass, in which Johnny Depp played Whitey Bulger. UM first profiled Bulger on November 22, 1996. The movie also depicts the 1981 murder of Roger Wheeler, a case that was highlighted on the first UM episode in January 1987.

Nice. I can't believe I forgot about that one, especially considering it wasn't made for TV, but a mainstream release.

Wife, Murderer, Mother (TV Movie, 1991) - Movie about Marie Hilley and the poisoning of her family. Judith Light played Marie and I think it was a Lifetime movie.
