Default Who Do You Trust As A News Source?

Just recently Brian Williams from NBC has admitted that he made-up a story about being shoot down in Iraq. Since than, other "LIES" that he has told, has come to light.

Dan Rather from CBS broadcasted a made-up story of President George W. Bush's military service, that cost him his job.

Fox News, CNN, MSNBC has fabicated or just not delivered "accurate information" over the years.....the internet has many slanted "opinated news sites" with "inaccurate news stories." Newspapers are slowly be bought up by "Gannett News" across the country or just dying out....

So, who do you trust for "NEWS?"

I find that the AP (Associate Press) is still very accurate.

On Oct 18 2011, my hometown (Zanesville Ohio) was put on the map (so to speak)
My town became not just a Local, State, or National News STORY, but WORLD WIDE INTERNATIONAL NEWS STORY

We had a person released 50 plus "Wild Animals" that he had--Lions,Tigers, Bears, Panthers, Bobcats, ect... and the "false stories" that were reported were unreal. I live about 4.5 miles away (3 miles as the animals could travel or as they say the "crow flies").

Since than, I haven't held much faith in any of the "media" and their stories!

So who do you TRUST?

I don't watch ANY news channel, or read ANY paper. They ALL have an agenda.

And I feel better this way.

Lately I get my news from the internet or local news channels. I think maybe I'm too trusting. I pretty much believe it all!

I haven't held any faith in the media for years. I only watch the local news to get traffic reports, and weather before work.

Here is a very accurate (and very long) story about the release of the animals in Zanesville... our Sheriff's Office got calls from as far away as England and Australia.

I think it is worth a read,,,but I'm biased since I lived through it!

I know it might be hard to believe that "ESQUIRE" had one of the most accurate story, but it did!!! This story really puts you there... Great job Esquire!!!

I don't have cable so I'm stuck with the usual Fox,ABC,CBS,NBC crap.
All the women anchors on these channels look like models and are more concerned with their appearance than anything else. They do not like wearing coats and hats and look pretty stupid when they're outside shivering in the freezing weather. The weathermen are all liars, we have one guy that I call " Mr.Severe " because he constantly uses that word in his forecast even when it's clear and sunny out " I'm not expecting any severe weather today but there might be some severe weather this weekend. " I think he gets paid extra for saying severe because it attracts viewers. These news channels really thrive on video more than they do story. When we had those riots during the summer one channel kept their camera on a burning car for 30 minutes, They like fire as much as the arsonists.

Fox News is the only news channel I watch and I only watch it when something big happens.

As long as you are informed of the bias going in, you're able to make a good decision on news.

The big networks ARE all biased, I think. Unfortunately, that's what we're left with. C-SPAN is pretty non partisan, but they do reviews and call ins and live from Congress stuff. They really don't have a newsdesk, per se. I guess I go back and forth between them all, but I really never watch MSNBC. I get that it's trying to counter Fox, but it seems more liberal than Fox is conservative, to me.

I default to internet news.
