my list for which there is no known documentary

i.e ancient aliens, monsterquest, 48 hours, AMW, finding bigfoot, paranormal witness, maddie mccann, not on missing from ID, shows on ID

5 disappearance of eloise worledge, which i wonder is paranormal - other children also disappeared mysteriously like diane provost and 2 from conneticut

4 the murder of valerie percy other cold cases murders like betsy aardavada, oakland county child killer,

i think that ID channel could and should do a show on cold unsolved murders

3 several jane and john does including walker county jane doe, princess doe,

i think that ID channel could and should do a show devoted exclusively to john and jane doe

2 paranormal phenomena and theories including time slips, vortex, missing flight 370

1 unusual deaths or deaths involving conspiracies

Don't have a top 5 exactly, but I'd really like to see this one on UM:

Aaron Cody Stepp

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/stepp_aaron.html

Stepp came from a troubled family, and his aunt was granted custody of him while his mother was in jail on a theft rap. The day before Stepp's mother was to be released from jail, and would naturally want to see her son, the aunt reports Cody missing - this despite the fact that no one can remember seeing the son for over a year prior. Police check the house and there is no sign that a young kid had been living there. His mother also testified that whenever she would call from prison, her mother and aunt would not let her speak to Cody. They were also receiving $279 a month in welfare benefits because of the child.

Then it turns out that the grandmother may have previously beat to death a daughter of hers in 1964 and the whole thing looks terribly sinister. But one problem with the case is that that since he was reported missing both the aunt and grandmother have died, leaving the mother incredulous as to what happened. The main 2 theories are that either the aunt or grandmother beat Cody to death, or that they sold him to another family.

This is a little to new for Unsolved Mysteries (2005) but hands down this case has haunted me ever since I read about it...

Richard Petrone and Danielle Imbo

YES. This case is bizarre. I recently read it myself and it stuck out for the sheer oddity of it all.

You too? I seriously was just lost for words when I read about this case. A broken up couple randomly and at the last minute decide to meet up at a bar and walk out to leave and they as well as the truck are never seen again. So bizarre. I REALLY want this one solved

I'm with the majority. I lean towards a professional hit. Probably by the ex husband. I wonder if they buried the truck ala Lisa Kimmel. I really hate the compactor theory. I hope they were deceased if/when that happened.

I agree about Dylatov Pass, even though other shows have covered it.

I was thinking that at first too but the thing that gets me is that Richard and Danielle had already been broken up and it was by all accounts a very random last minute meet up. So, for me that's where the hit man hired by the ex husband theory is hard to fathom. Of course, it's possible but it's just the randomness of that night. I wonder if anyone saw them actually get into the truck and leave or if they just saw then exiting the bar heading for the truck.

That story is by far the strangest case I have ever heard of.

Two teachers at war with one another in the Pocono Mountains. The victim claims her coworker tried to destroy her, while the forensic evidence pointed elsewhere.

WEIRD case. Fascinating. What do you guys think?
I just watched it then. To do all those things to yourself you'd have to be mentally ill. I'm seeing shades of the Cindy James case here.

Bethanie Lynne Dougherty

This case isn't to far from me, its a couple hours away and it in an extremely remote location. This would've been a perfect story for UM. Apparently she usually got up around 3am for her early morning job at a continent store and her habit was to go outside and have a cigarette when she got up in the morning. Still so creepy.
