On "The Golden Girls" there was a episode focuase on a neighboring family the husband was a dr and his brother in law had multiple personality disorder. My question were they going to have thier own series ?

There were daughters that were in college.... If you recall from Saturday nights on NBC, Dr. Harry Weston... Charlie, the crazy neighboy who was a ship's steward... Barbara and Carol... This episode eventually became "Empty Nest," with Dr Harry Weston. ALthough they didn't use the same actors in the GG episode (except Charlie) in EN, the house layout is the same, and the "doctor/neighbor/daughter" thing played into it. So.... there you go.

Maybe I'm imagining things, but in that same episode, when the Doctor's wife came over complaining about her husband and being lonely, I *think* she called Dorothy "Darcy".
Maybe it's her accent, but everytime I watch that episode I hear her say Darcy! Maybe it's official now, maybe I am crazy LOL Susan |
