Default I Got A Question About Section 8 Housing

I wanna know do you think I could be qualified for section 8 housing even though I'm low income? I know there's some poor blacks who live in my neighborhood and they have section 8. I live in the suburbs and it's a quiet neighborhood. It's mostly blacks and Hispanics. There's a few whites. I wanna know could I live in the suburbs if I applied for section 8? I don't wanna live in the projects because it's not safe. Too many ignorant blacks live in public housing and there's too much crime. I'm a good person and I don't wanna live around that. There was a Asian mailman who delivered mail to the projects that was down the street from the last full time job I had. I found out from a black mailman that I'm cool with who delivered mail to my former job that the Asian mailman got robbed and beat up by ignorant black men. That's sad and pathetic.

That's exactly why I don't wanna live in the projects because stuff like that happens. It's really sad that mailmen can't deliver mail to the projects so tenants can get their mail because they're worried about getting robbed or beat up. The thing I hate about applying for low income housing is that they take too long to find people housing. I applied for low income housing from Virginia housing authority and I finally got a letter from them last summer saying that I'm still on the waiting list and I threw the letter away. I'll probably never hear from them. It's really sad that homeless people who are trying to get housing gotta wait forever to get housing whether it be in the projects or the suburbs. This is why homelessness will always be a problem in America because the government doesn't give a sh*t about homeless people. It's really sad that homeless people gotta sleep on the streets and worry about ignorant men beating them up and sometimes killing them. They freeze to death during the winter. Homeless shelters are overcrowded and they aren't safe.

Sorry it took me so long to answer. I really don't know . I'm thinking Section 8 would take longer to get and more red tape because it is better than the Public housing projects. I don't know though. Sorry I couldn't be more help ! Hope the section 8 is what you are able to get. If you go to the Projects , get extra locks on your door, and when you go out just keep to yourself, even if somebody tries to start trouble, try to ignore them and go about your business!

This is the best website for finding Section 8 housing available in every neighbor hood in every city in every state of the continental United States.

Bonniegirl62, i wish it was that simple to ignore ignorant black men when they're bothering me. When they bother me, ignoring them may not be good enough because they might try to put their hands on me and that's why i wanna avoid living in the projects because stuff like that happens there. It's scary to live in the projects because of ignorant black men starting trouble. They don't believe in acting right because they think doing that makes you soft and a punk. That's why i wanna live in the suburbs so i can avoid those type of men. I have a feeling that if i lived in the projects that i may not live long and i've never been shot before and i'm afraid of getting shot because i don't like pain. That's why i posted a topic before saying that the housing authority needs to help homeless people find a place to live in the suburbs instead of the projects because being in the projects isn't safe. That's why i figured if i applied for section 8 that section 8 would help me get in the suburbs because there's some section 8 blacks living in my neighborhood.

Well cleverfun3000, I just checked the houses that are available in Fort Washington, Maryland where I live for section 8 and they're asking for too much money that I can't afford. I'm gonna see if I can get a voucher from the housing authority so I won't have to pay that much for rent. If I can't get a voucher, then i'll be forced to live in the projects where I won't have to pay as much. Yeah Bonniegirl62, it's really bad in the projects. A lot of blacks have been killed there across America because of ignorance. Ignorance will never end in black neighborhoods because so many black men believe that being ignorant makes them cool and hard. What they fail to understand is that behaving like that will lead you to a early death or prison. The sad thing is they don't care about dying young because they aren't trying to live to be old.

I remember Richard Pryor told Eddie Murphy in Harlem Nights movie that it's not cool to die young at 25. He said what's gonna be on your tombstone? He said Eddie's tombstone is gonna say he died at 25 but he ain't no punk LOL. Richard said it's cool to die when you're old and you got your grandkids around you. That mentality that Eddie had about dying young because he wanna show people that he's not a punk is the mentality that ignorant black men have. That's why so many of them die young because they think when you got a problem with somebody, you're supposed to beat the person up or kill the person and that makes you tough. If you don't beat somebody up or kill somebody, you're looked at as being soft and a punk. Look at the rappers that have died young like 2Pac, Notorious Big, Eazy E of NWA, Big L, Freaky Tah of Lost Boys, Big Pun, Jam Master Jay of Run DMC. Most of them were shot. Eazy E died of aids and Big Pun had a heart attack because he was too fat.

I wish I had gone to white schools most of my life and I wish I had lived in a white neighborhood most of my life because I like the way white people live. White neighborhoods and white schools are better than black neighborhoods and black schools because whites take care of their neighborhoods and their schools. White neighborhoods are peaceful and don't have a lot of crime like black neighborhoods. I'm tired of ignorant black men having this mentality that just because black neighborhoods are poor, that makes it ok to act ignorant and kill each other and fight each other. Ignorant black men wanna continue to blame whites for their problems and I'm tired of that. White men don't force black men to do crime and kill each other. White men don't force black men to go to prison. White men don't force black men to make black schools bad. When good black men like myself speak the truth about ignorant black men, they don't wanna hear it and they'll call me a uncle tom and say I kiss the white man's ass. Just because I would rather live in a white neighborhood than a black neighborhood doesn't make me a uncle tom and it doesn't make me wanna be white. I just wanna live in a peaceful neighborhood because I'm a good person and I don't wanna live in a bad black neighborhood where I gotta be worried about my safety all the time. Blacks wonder why whites don't wanna be bothered with them and they wonder why whites hate them.

Only a fool would call you an "Uncle Tom" because you want to live in a better
neighborhood; and in this country that usually means a white neighborhood.
