The Tree by my living room window stays up ALL YEAR.
As of today four toys lay at its base, these were acquired from "Uncle Wally's" after I procured a gift card from an auto dealer. Come December all will be donated to one of four charities which help needy kids. Whenever I purchase a new toy the lights on that treeb come on overnight. BTW last night I counted seven houses that still had their outdoor lights still on!

My outside decorations are still up...I'll put them down probably by May.

All of mine were put away the week after New Years Day. But I leave out all of my winter related things like snowmen figurines and winter candle holders, etc. I put them away on the first day of spring then my Easter/spring decorations go up.
Unfortunately The first day of Spring really doesn't mean spring for Michigan. We are lucky to get a "Springy"Easter if Easter falls late in April.

I put everything away on January 2nd. As nice as they are, I am sick to death of looking at them come January. I put them up around the 1st of January, so that probably explains why.

I love the ones we used to have in the 80s and earlier....... The nice coloured llights,etc....... (The big thick ones on the tree)
Christmas is no fun for me anymore....... An ugly looking tree with little lights on it..... LOOKS LIKE CRAP!! (Tree doesnt have that nice Piney smell anymore, etc) |

PS. Last night I spotted eight houses who still had their lights on, one of which still had a LIT Tree behind the living room window!
