My husband is doctor and like most doctors, he's a very busy person. These past few months he's been really moody and has even gotten to the point that he even snapped at our son when he asked him for a bedtime story. I do understand that he has a lot of work-related stress. I can see him lugging charts, journals, books, etc from his clinic to the hospital and to our home. I have been wondering how to help him with his work. I know that I am a good and supporting wife but I want to do more for him. And so yesterday, when I was paying my bills online, I suddenly thought, why not ask him to go paperless? I did some research earlier and there are a lot of electronic health records system available. However, I want to make sure that the software I choose is really reliable before I tell my husband.
My question is, has any of you ever encountered a clinic that uses an EHR system? What do they use? Have you tried any EHR software? What is the best software that you've encountered so far? Can you give me any recommendations, and information? I'd be really happy to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you. |

Hi Sherrie. Man doctors now used EHR system because it makes their busy life easier and manageable. I know that they use it but definitely do not have an idea what kind they use because it is obviously confidential because of the sensitive and important data that it has. Anyway, you can try to research on a possible provider and once the information is available, contact them and ask for proposals. Then you may present the comparison of features to your husband. That way, you made his life easier which provider to choose.

My doctor uses this one. I'm not really sure whether it's reliable or if it'll work for my husband that's why I was asking for recommendations so I can do a comparison. You're advice about getting proposals is very welcome. I may just do that. Thanks for replying and sharing with me your thoughts.
