Will and Grace Fanatic be happy Senior Member Join Date: Feb 15, 2002 Location: seattle, washington Posts: 2,746	What took the writers so long to give Gunther lines I've been watching Friends on Netflix, I'm currently on season 3. I've noticed that Gunther can be seen in the coffee house but really doesn't have any lines till season 3. Do we know what got the producers/writers to give him lines finally? There must have been something behind the scenes that led to this.
