Who was the guy that idolized Rambo? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm almost certain this was an Unsolved Mysteries case. The only thing I can remember about it though is some guy in his late twenties, maybe early thirties committing some kind of crime. I'm not sure if it was murder or robbery, but basically the police met him at his house and chased him and caught him. He apparently idolized Rambo and thought of himself as a kind of maverick or whatever. When he was arrested and heading to court I think he basked in the glow of all the cameras and wanted to be on TV. Sound familiar?

Strange that he isn't profiled on the Unsolved Mysteries wiki. I thought that place had every case. Does anyone even have a photo of the dude?

Although I'm not positive, I thought this was another one of those stories that never made it to Lifetime or Spike. Could be why there isn't much about it anywhere.

It had to have made it to Lifetime at least once, which is how I remember it. Back in the 90's I only watched Unsolved Mysteries on Lifetime as a kid. Unless it was part of the new series in 2001, but I think it was an older segment.

Oh the actor was totally better looking. Wasn't really digging that mullet, but otherwise he was aight.

The whole exchange with the second victim about supposedly being a cop.
