Default Racist moments in sitcoms

This usually takes place in 50's and 60's sitcoms do to the culture of America at that time.

One I can think of is while watching the Munsters on Netflix. There is an episode where Herman gets a job at the dry cleaners, the owner of the dry cleaners is an asian man. This man is actually a white actor dressed up as an asian man, who speaks in broken english.

Can any of you thing of other racist moments in older sitcoms?

I remember seeing yellowface in episodes of "Get Smart" and "Gilligan's Island."

You steam Glasses ( Gilligan's Island ep with the Japanese sailor, totally made him a stereotype , and the actor wasn't even Asian)

Mr. Ed. - Wilbur pretended to be a Chinese waiter

All in the family- Archie Bunker, the most racist character in history!

Television is still racist towards Asians, especially East Asians. The Chinese actor (who plays a Korean for some reason) on Two Broke Girls is a great example. Wimpy, not sexually attractive, childish. The lot of East Asian women on TV is better, but it is still Suzie Wong time mostly.

I am married to a Chinese person in China so I have some perspective (Yong Fang is her name)

Not exactly a TV series but until the unedited DVD's of all Three Stooges shorts were released I didn't realize how many racial terms were said references to Japanese as "japs", white actors playing Indians in some shorts and the Stooges themselves try to play off as Japanese soldiers in one short.

This one is a little more recent, but in a 1996 ep. of "Kenan & Kel", Kel is ordering fancy food in a Chinese restaurant and the waiter tells him, "Sir, this is a Chinese restaurant."

Then Kel orders food in mock Chinese going, "Ning, chang, wong, ching-chang...," and the Chinese waiter gets insulted thinking he said he'll drive his truck over his mother's face.

On Modern Family Ed O'Neil's character (Jay Pritchett) says a few harmless but humorous pokes at his hot Colombian wife played by Sofia Vergara.

Oh No

Two Gimme a Break episodes "Samantha Steals the Squad Car" and "Baby of the Family" deal with race issues...Samantha is called a "Dumb ******" in "Samantha Steals the Squad Car" and in "Baby of the Family", Samantha gets Joey in hot water by performing in blackface!

PS-how about Father Knows Best or Amos and Andy? High Stereotypes in these sitcoms.
