Watching this case makes me think how twisted and sick the mind of her killer has to be...
I can see from the story that Brooke was a person who very much cared about the world around her and was trying to make her way in the world, to make a difference. Bryan Jones is no doubt a monster with no concern for those around him; his only care is to care only for his sick desires. Even though it took the death of Erika Norman, I am glad that he is not on the loose any longer. |

I'm glad they got her killer, too. However, I was really baffled at the angle UM took on the case. UM presented several interesting suspects-- none of whom were responsible for the actual murder.

That is true. Much like the Joyce Chiang murder. Her killer was thought to be connected to the Chandra Levy case when it turns out she was killed by two men who attempted to rob her.
I can see how they may have thought the landlord may have had something to do with it and certainly the rape investigation angle. Both of these could have been valid scenarios. |
