Default Sammy Davis Jr. appeared on All in the Family and The Jeffersons but he could not

appear on "What's Happening?" lol

I am watching the Benefit Show now and Sammy Davis did not appear and everyone in the crowd was disappointed. lol Just seemed like he could have appeared on this show too.

What's Happening had a really low budget. They probably could not afford to get Sammy Davis, Jr. to appear. So they probably never even asked him.

Of course I remember Sammy on All in the Family, but I do not remember him on the Jeffersons. What was the premise of that episode? I guess I missed that one.

It was the last season of the Jeffersons, Sammy was in NYC and needed privacy and had a apt across the hall from the Jeffersons. It was just him and Louise the entire episode and he was only in the scene with George and Florence at the very end

Damn! I wish I would have seen that episode. I didn't see most of the final season. And I love the Jeffersons! Probably my favorite show that started in the 70's, and Sanford & Son, What's Happening, and Alice.

Louise was hiding Sammy in the closet every time Florence or George came out and then her and George left to go to an event and she forgot she left Sammy on the balcony and it was pouring down raining lol

I thought Sammy Davis JR was only on All in The Family. I didn't know he'd been on the Jeffersons as well.

His appearance on Archie Bunker's Place was actually before his appearance on The Jeffersons.

Yeah that is correct, he didn't paper on the Jeffersons until 1985

That isn't correct, he didn't get on The Jeffersons until the 1st date, 01/Jan/84.

He also appeared in Gimme A Break as well as the ill-fated continuation series, Sanford.
