I've heard of a peen on a hammer. Ball and peen hammers are popular.
Does anyone remember the cable show called 'Sniglets'? It was about things which didn't have names but should. I.e., sprunge was the congealed ketchup under the bottle's cap. And: What do you call the plastic grass in the springtime holiday candy baskets? Eastro-turf!!
