I hated that intro. Why did they go with a different style for the theme song when they likely knew it was going to be the final season?

By the last season with the introduction of Flip, KC, Eugene, Jenny Piccolo and all these other "FILLER" characters made the show REALLY difficult to watch which is why the rating tanked. Fonz was clearly pushing 40 and it showed. To see Potsie pushing 30 and to still be so stupid and clearly the writers had no idea what to do with him made his character pathetic and sad.

It reminded me of real life when I was 16 I'd see 19 and 20 year guys who graduated my high school would come back around and hang out after school with their cars and hit on the girls. I thought to myself, wow what Losers! Why aren't they working or in college? So sad. I couldn't wait to graduate so I wouldn't have to be in school any more. Last place I'd want to do is come back for leisure? I suppose there's a small window of opportunity for greatness and you have to cash in while you can. After it's over, move one and keep making forward progress and mature. Don't stagnate.

I don't think any of those characters were in the final Happy Days season

The show revolved around Richie Cunningham. No Richie, no show. That's when I stopped watching.

In the last episode he yelled at that guy from the adoption agency who said Fonzie shouldn't adopt because it was better for the boy to be adopted by a couple than a single person.

Mr C said something like "To hell with your rules" or something like that, which was pretty bold language for a show like Happy Days.

Were Richie and Joanie's parents still called Mr. and Mrs. C in that season anymore? Because I think Fonzie and Chachi called them Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham during that final season. I know Ralph still called Mr. C Howie when he, Lori Beth, Richie, and Richie Jr. all returned.
