Investigators are working to determine if a newborn baby found dead last night at a recycling center amongst recyclable items was the son of Melissa Mitin of Okemos, Michigan. Mitin is notorious for the murder of her newborn daughter in late 2013, whom she placed face down in a trash can literally right after giving birth to her. The placenta and umbilical cord were still attached. The baby girl died. She gave birth to her son a few days ago. I have no reason to believe the child found at the recycling center is not her son.

Mitin hid her latest pregnancy. When asked where her newborn son was, she said she "couldn't recall."

This "woman" is a two-time child murderer with severe mental issues and needs to be locked up permanently.

How was she not already locked up after being charged with the death of her daughter?! How could they have given bond to someone accused of such a heinous crime? That kind of negligent policy seems to have cost the life of a young baby. $5,000 bond to someone who allegedly committed infanticide? Somebody was smoking crack that day when they decided that was an acceptable thing to allow.

Surprisingly, the baby found at the recycling center was not Mitin's. Her baby son is still missing, however.
