Where did Michael Knight live?

There was a similar thread of this too over on The A-Team thread and got me thinking:

So just where did Michael Knight live, we never ever saw his home, he never even went back to his old home when he was Michael Long.

Each episode would start with Michael driving KITT either returning from a mission or about to go on another when they get a call from Devon about some new mission. Did he live in the mansion of the Foundation For Law and Government?

Yeah I know with old TV shows you have to suspend reality from fiction but where did he shower? get clothes? have breakfast?

i think he lived at foundation but im wondering where was micael long parents he was dead didn't they have answers questions what happened to their son wierd

That's why episodic writing for hour long crime/action dramas was so lousy back then, there wasn't any thought for characterization because the writers only had a 1 hour per week to work with and cram as much plot as possible and with minimal of talkie parts.

I mean like you said, not once did Michael ever was curious to see his folks, I mean I know he was a lone crusader but spending all your free time in your car was a bit much.

least david banner went back to see his family that was cool n MR.T saw his mother once on A-Team,

but Michael knight should let his family know he was alive and well and living in his car
