GH Recasts Role with ATWT Fave

A "General Hospital" character is getting a new — but familiar — face.

ABC has confirmed for Soap Opera Digest that daytime-TV vet Grayson McCouch is taking over the part of special agent Kyle Sloane.

Robb Derringer, who made his GH debut in mid-November, will continue to appear as Kyle for the next several weeks, with McCouch set to first air in early February.

Add Robb Derringer to the list of soap actors who've replaced their own replacement — he'll reclaim the role of Kyle Sloane from Grayson McCouch in September, a show rep confirms.

Derringer originated the part of Kyle in November 2014, with McCouch taking over in February 2015. It doesn't look like Sloane will stick around for long, though; the GH spokesperson says, "At this point he’s back for a short story arc."

Doesnt the original Sloan, quickly look like Johnny Zaccahara? No more of Grayson saying "CCCAAARRRLLLOOOSSS RRRIIIVVVEEERRRAAA."
