Default Another new free channel

I just discovered another new channel I'm getting now over the air called GRIT. Has anyone heard of it? Seems like I get a new channel every month now.

I wish my area would get anything! I begged our local network to get Cozi, Antenna or
Me-TV and they stated clearly they don't want them.

Do you live near any large cities? I would have thought everyone would be getting at least one of those channels by now.

I live in Fort Wayne and we have an Antenna TV affiliate. No Me-TV or Cozi though (unless you count the 2 hours of Me-TV my FOX affiliate airs Sunday nights from 1-3AM).

These are all the over the air channels that we in the north part of St.Louis receive. After talking to some relatives I found out people living in the west and south areas of St.Louis don't get all of these channels, a difference of about 15-20 miles.

2.1 Fox
2.2 Antenna
4.1 CBS
4.2 Metv
4.3 Mytv
5.1 NBC
5.2 Bounce tv
7.1 HSN
7.2 SBN
7.3 REVNTV (car channel)
7.4 ONTV4U
9.1 PBS
9.2 PBS KIDS
9.3 PBS WORLD
9.4 PBS CREATE
11.1 CW
11.2 THIS TV
24.1 KNLC ( A preacher who runs the homeless shelter owns this station that plays gospel music and airs old shows like Real McCoys,Roy Rogers)

24.2 A.R.E ( The same preacher uses this channel to teach folks that live in the boonies how to conserve energy with windmills and solar)

These next 14 channels are usually blank screens but every once in a while something is being shown on them.

25.1
25.2
25.3 DD
25.3
25.4 3ABN-ES
25.4
25.5 3ABN-RD
25.5
25.6 3ABN-LR
25.6
25.7 RADIO74
25.7
25.8
25.9

30.1 ABC
30.2 GET TV
30.3 GRIT TV
36.1 HSN
36.2 SBN
36.3 REVN
36.4
38.1 K38HD-D
46.1 ION
46.2 QUBO
46.3 IONLIFE
46.4 SHOP
46.5 QVC
46.6 HSN
51.1 DAYSTAR

Sometimes during storms I will lose the signals on some of these channels but pick up other ones. I usually run a channel scan every night to see what I'm getting.

We are over 90 minutes from a city and can't pick up anything on an antenna from that city. We don't have cable here, our only option is a dish.

Did you ask them why they didn't want them? It may be a logical one but I'd love to know what their reason is.

They said they have a better sub station. I can't remember what it is. It shows 'Judge' shows and Maury, Jerry Springer and other junk.
I even went in and talked to the manager, he apparently doesn't care for classic shows because after contacting Antenna TV a few years back, even they said our station wasn't interested.

That's a lame reason if I ever heard one.

My thoughts exactly and I told him that. I even tried to explain that people would prefer to watch the classic shows but it fell on deaf ears. I continued to 'contact' him for a few years but finally gave up.
