I'm a little late in posting,I should have posted a couple days ago! Oh well, keep this in mind for your Easter ham!!!
It's easy and really good! Ham- at least a cup or so (whatever you have left ) , just so it's enough of ham, cut in bite sized pieces 2 cans of Campbell's Cream of Asparagus soup Fresh mushrooms-sliced Asparagus ( fresh is better if you can get it, if not , canned asparagus) dash of pepper Spaghetti noodles Cut up left over ham in bite sized pieces Cut up mushrooms Heat soup on the stove, add ham, mushrooms and a little pepper In the meantime, cook spaghetti noodles same as you would if you were cooking regular spaghetti - also cook asparagus (the original recipe calls for the asparagus to be put in with the ham, mushrooms and soup. I don't do this I find it gets too mushy!! I prefer to cook the asparagus separate and mix it later)!! When the soup mixture comes to a boil cover and simmer stirring occasionally just like you would spaghetti sauce. Than the spaghetti noodles and asparagus should be done. Mix all together and ENJOY!!!!!!!!

This year I made this with Cream of broccoli soup and fresh broccoli. The grocery store I went to didn't carry Cream of asparagus soup and I settled for Cream of broccoli! Settled indeed, it wasn't nearly as good as when it's made with Cream of asparagus!

You can also wrap your ham in those crescent rolls and add some cheese to it to make appetizers. They're good to snack on or to take to a party. I like to use pepper jack cheese but you can use whatever you have on hand.

Here's what I did with some of my leftover Christmas ham:
I had a box of Banquet "Homestyle Bakes" -- Mornings -- Biscuits with country gravy I wanted to make. I cut up some of the ham into tiny pieces, and added it in before baking (along with some thawed frozen veggies). It turned out really well. |
