In short, Chachi buggers off for 16 episodes, and then slink back into town, without anybody noticing that he left in the first place.

I don't get why this is still being asked.I've watched almost the whole thing and answered multiple times. I may being missing as a song or two but have covered everything.
To recap: Pros: Some of the original music is present and ALL of the band performances seem to present. It's an improvement over Season 5 where all music was replaced and Leather's performance of "Johnny B. Goode" had to be dubbed over with generic music. "Cassonova Cunningham"-"Great Pretender" and "Blueberry Hill" are intact. Given that Great Pretender is replaced everywhere else, it's either an error that escaped producing the set or the audio couldn't be separated and they somehow were able to pay just for the use of these songs in this episode. That's not usually the case but who knows. There's also a song heard in the beginning I think is original, and if not they should have used it more as it fit right in. "Sweet Sixteen" "Poison Ivy"-Instrumental is heard "Stolen Melodies" -"The Twist" is included Picture: Picture is great! I still have my videotape with the last few episodes of S6 and while I may have enjoyed them when they aired, they are difficult to watch now, as they are very faded and poor quality, compared to the clear picture and rich colors presented on the DVD. Cons: Excepting the episodes I haven't watched yet (Westward Ho, Fonzie is Allergic to Girls, Kid Stuff and Married Strangers) all original music not performed by the band (jukebox) looks to have been replaced. While it's sad these sets I guess sell enough to keep coming out, they don't sell enough enough to include much music outside of the band. I get it, so my only criticism is should have gone somewhere more in the middle of S1/3/4 and the S5 release. I don't expect them to get every song but it would have made sense to get the rights for "Great Pretender" for all the eps for example since it played in almost every ep. Also (again if possible) a single use for "Big Girl's Don't Cry" in "Fonzie's Funeral" since Al was dancing to to specifically and the replacement doesn't fit. Overall, I'd give a positive review and recommend fans of the show buy it. Also because there a ton of quality episodes in this set. Outside the three part opener (which I have no desire to watch again) I haven't seen an episode yet I disliked. |

To avoid any confliction which I already knew that this was going to happen but I will say this one time an one time only that either outside studios such as Timelife mills creek or shout factory can save this series with everything intact an ill leave it like that

I think they were secretly glad Chachi had disappeared.
