This is old news, but I thought this article is worth sharing. Officer Roy Caffey was recently honored with rest areas named after him. As you may recall, Roy Caffey was the South Carolina patrolman who was murdered in the line of duty in 1972. UM highlighted the case in 1994, but it wasn't until 1997 when an arrest was made.

Cool. We live ten minutes from the SC border and I'm extremely familiar with I-26. If we ever go in the direction of Orangeburg I'll make sure to check the stops out.
