This is a fantastic find! Thank you for sharing, Flying Dutchman! Bob Denver mentions a next generation project in his autobiography, so it's nice to get actual confirmation from Gilligan and Mary Ann themselves that it really did exist.

For me this is proof that even though the censors stopped any romance from happening among the younger castaways, Sherwood Schwartz never gave up on his desire to pair Mary Ann/Gilligan and Ginger/Professor. (I believe he also paired them in 'Gilligan's Island: The Musical', but I have never seen that.)
