Over the years I've read several great true crime books from recommendations in this forum, but sadly not all cases have books written about them (yet).
What are some of the cases, solved or still-unsolved, that are in desperate need of a book being written about them? My vote goes to the Circleville Letters. What a juicy story. You've got the opportunity to write about tons of drama, countless twists and turns, interesting regional peculiarities and, at the heart of it all, a lingering mystery...somebody PLEASE write a book about this case!

AJ Breux also springs to mind- just SUCH a bizarre case... why would anyone (apparently) abduct a middle aged guy of modest means, in good community standing with no known enemies? |

Agree with everyone's comments. Some that come to mind:
Angela Hammond's disappearance Alexander Olive, what a convoluted mess of a situation that poor little boy was in Camilla Lyman's unusual life and creepy murder Rachel and Shannon Timmerman/Verhage and their killer, Marvin Gabrion and his other suspected victims (edit: just looked on amazon, her family did a book called The Color of Night) Eagle the dog (Has anyone done a book on him and his oddball handler?) |

I could have swore there was a book on Dave Bocks. I remember looking online for it during the summer of 2007 (7 and a half years ago), but being unable to find it. EDIT: Yep, there was a book, written by D.C. Cole as a matter of fact. However, it is out of print so good luck finding a copy.
http://www.amazon.com/Bocks-conspira.../dp/B0006RLOYI Someone traded me an episode of the Investigators that was about Eagle and his weird owner. Don't know if there's a book about it, but at least there's that much. Slightly O/T, but I was looking at this CP case yesterday and noticed a book written about the case and all the related goings-on. Checked on Amazon, and you can get it for the cheap, inexpensive price of $50. Buying things online is weird, some things you can get dirt cheap, other things you'd expect to be cheap are outrageously expensive.http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...ner_david.html |
