I always thought Lani O'Grady (Mary Bradford) was a wonderful actress, who you could always depend on to give it her all. She wasn't just an actress, she was also a children s talent agent as well.
Lani was in many TV shows apart form Eight is Enough, as well as 2 Love Boat episodes. But Lani suffered from agoraphobia, which is an anxiety disorder that cause panic attacks in certain situations where the victim is around a crowd of people. Because of this, she retired from acting in 1990 after her final role on Days of our Lives. Then at that point became a talent agent. But the medication she was taking was making it difficult for her to cope with everyday life, so she had to quit that too. On September 25th 2001 Lani O'Grady was found dead in her home in Valencia California. The autopsy revealed a drug overdose, but they never determined if it was accident or suicide. Whatever the cause, she was a wonderful actress and is very much missed, and I find myself thinking about her sometimes. R.I.P Lani. |
